• As we know almost whole the earth is cover by Carbon, and almost everything in the earth is made by Carbon as well.  The equation, C0₂ + H₂0 + light => C₆H₁₂O₆ + O₂ + energy, shows how carbon dioxide is broken down and used to produce glucose for the plants and oxygen; photosynthesis as a part of assimilation and respiration as a part of release. 

• The trees is taking a lot of carbon and release just a little bit of it. Decomposition  recycles this carbon to the atmosphere. So decomposition is happen to release the  Carbon by the respiration that is stored in there. The animals and the human are part of the respiration process.

• Even if the animal died they will be part of the decomposition layer and it will release in the respiration process. Animal, plant respiration and assimilation into the soil .

Lab#5 Germination and Productivity

GERMINATION IN THE DARK AND LIGHT:

• What was our CONTROL for this experiment.
• Using two different ways to define what is going to happen with seeds that is planting in the dark as well in the light.
• In the darkness the seed will not grow and their leaves don't going to develop well; if they grow they will look like dead seedlings.
• In the light the seed will grow really well, with their leaves green and tall. It will looks stronger and healthy.
  
  
• What is the percent germination for the LIGHT TREATMENT? For the DARK TREATMENT?
  
  
• In the dark is about 35% and in the light is about 48%.

1. Compare the difference in appearance in the dark treatment and the light treatment plants.

• The difference between the seed that was in the dark and the seed that was in the light.
• IN THE DARK SEEDS: Those seeds could not develop their roots, leaves and bark really well, some of them are smallest and the bark of some are with and brown-light. Looks like each seed tried to find a way to grow but because they could not receive the sun they grow like hugging each other.
• IN THE LIGHT SEEDS: Those seed develop their roots, leaves and bark pretty well, those seedling have pretties leaves greens and look stronger and they can survive.

1. The seed that was in the dark grow a little bit and they did not have leaves, I think they tried to grow even if they did not have sun light but they fight to grow to where they could.
